Burton C of E Primary School is very excited for our new partnership working with Pop-Up Bookshop this school academic year! 

Our new school landing page on this website supports everything we love about reading and books at school plus provides an easy platform for you to support book fundraising both from home and at our literacy events. 

We are looking forward to working closely with Pop-Up Bookshop over coming years to deliver exciting literacy events to school, some of the fundraising initiatives we will explore include book fairs, sponsored reading challenges, preloved book fairs and author visits! 

Using our school landing page you can browse and buy books from our School Recommended Reading Lists and every time you purchase through Pop-Up Bookshop, they donate £1 to school to spend on books! 

In addition, our Reading Rewards are another fantastic way to celebrate your child’s reading efforts at home and we have some awesome prizes to recognise various milestones along the way. Of course, the very best reward is encouraging your child to embrace a lifelong love of reading and learning. 

This blog will be a primary resource updated by our pupil Reading Ambassadors to bring you an insight into all of the ways we engage our school community with reading for pleasure and books. Watch this space!
