It is the time when young children start school, new timetables and the buzz of classrooms filling up once again. Welcoming New Reading Ambassadors
This term we are especially looking forward to welcoming new Reading Ambassadors across the schools we partner with. These pupils play a vital role in inspiring their peers, encouraging a love of reading and helping to make books more visible in school life. It is always a joy to see children take pride in being advocates for reading and we can’t wait to see the creativity and enthusiasm our new Ambassadors will bring.
Autumn Term Book Fairs
Another highlight of the back to school season is our autumn term book fairs. These pop-up events transform school halls and classrooms into vibrant spaces where books really come alive. From picture books that entertain the youngest readers to novels that challenge and excite older pupils, there’s a book for everyone. Book fairs are not only a chance to discover new stories, they also create shared experiences that stay with children long after the event.
Support For Teachers and Schools
We know that teachers and schools work tirelessly to encourage a love of reading. To support this, we are pleased to continue offering a 20% discount for teachers and schools. By registering through our teachers’ form, schools can access this saving on a wide range of books, ensuring that classrooms and libraries remain fully stocked with inspiring titles for every age group.

As always with sales, timing is everything. Limited stock is available, so once a title is gone, it really is gone. If you spot something you love, don’t wait too long to secure it.
Look out too for special items marked ‘SUPERFICIAL DAMAGE’. These books may have minor markings on the covers or small scuffs to the corners, but they’re still in great condition. It’s a brilliant way to grab a bargain book.
